LOST IN TRANSLATION

YOU GET OUT WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT

Last week after class one of my students shared with me that she has lost 23 pounds in 12 weeks since she started hooping! Yes, that might be more than more than average person, but I have been watching her in class... all three of my classes. She started with a Level One series 12 weeks ago and loved hooping so much that she gave up her other exercise classes in order to bump her hoop classes up to three times per week this last session. She was determined to work hard, very hard. So hard in fact that when the class was waist hooping she was waist hooping even faster. When we were learning to turn, she would go further and put her arms in the air. Every move we did, she went the extra mile continually pushing herself to move in her hoop.

On top of all of that, she has been logging in some serious miles on her hoop... literally. As of the 5th week of training she has hoop walked a total of 16.25 miles with our group. he makes it to almost every class and to almost every hoop group training... that's three classes that she has registered for and about 3 times a week for training. She is the most dedicated person I have run into in a long time. And on top of all of this, I have never seen her complain once. But why is she doing all of this and doing all of it with a smile on her face? Because of the fun factor. Yes, she will be the first to tell you that hooping, unlike most other forms of exercise, IS fun. And the payoff- a continual 500-900 calories burned according to her heart/calories monitor. I have been so impressed with her hard work and dedication that I gifted to her a cardioFlex class to encourage her futher. Yes, she puts a lot into her hoop... so how about you?
